IMD said that the low-pressure system located in the Bay of Bengal is located 370 km east-northeast of Chennai. It is located 450 km south of Visakhapatnam and 640 km south-southwest of Gopalpur (Odisha). In case it strengthens, the possibility of a cyclonic storm will increase.
