Namo Bharat Train Ticket Discount: NCRTC has started a new loyalty points program for its passengers on the ‘RRTS Connect’ mobile application, in which they will get up to 10 percent discount on fares if they travel through Namo Bharat. This program has started for passengers from today i.e. 21 December.
How does the loyalty points program work?
Under this loyalty points program of NCRTC, passengers will get 1 point for every rupee spent on Namo Bharat train ticket. The value of each loyalty point is ₹0.10 (10 paise) and it will be credited to the ‘RRTS Connect’ account of the passengers. These points can be used to buy tickets in future.
Digital ticketing will get a boost
This initiative will not only benefit passengers financially but will also promote the use of digital QR tickets through the ‘RRTS Connect’ app. It will also simplify travel through paperless ticketing. This environment-friendly measure is in line with NCRTC’s vision to improve the quality of life of people by providing fast, reliable, safe, comfortable, efficient and sustainable mobility solutions.
Every new user will get 500 loyalty programs
Every new user who downloads the ‘RRTS Connect’ app is being awarded 500 loyalty points equivalent to ₹50. Travellers can also earn additional 500 loyalty points by referring the ‘RRTS Connect’ app to other users. Both the referrer and the one referred will receive 500 loyalty points equivalent to ₹50, which will be credited to their respective accounts. All earned loyalty points will be valid for one year from the date of credit, encouraging continued and continuous travel and continuous app usage. The ‘RRTS Connect’ app is available for download on Google Play Store and Apple Play Store.
