Rainfall Update: Along with Delhi, the weather changed with drizzle in various places of NCR cities on Monday morning. Currently, Delhi NCR is cloudy. However, no major drop in minimum temperature has been observed. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius in the morning which is one degree less than the normal temperature of the season. The Meteorological Department has predicted a major change in the weather in Delhi and NCR cities this week.
Many weather systems are active
According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is active in the western Himalayan region. Not only this, a cyclonic circulation is visible in parts of Punjab and Haryana. Another cyclonic circulation is active over southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan. Not only this, the Meteorological Department says that another western disturbance is expected to hit the western Himalayan region from December 27. This western disturbance will also affect the plains of northwest India.
How will the weather be on 24 and 25 December?
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of the above weather systems, there is a possibility of light rain in different parts of Delhi, NCR, Punjab, Haryana and West UP. Not only this, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Talking about Delhi, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of mist or moderate fog at most places in the morning on 24 and 25 December. Dense fog may be seen at some places. The sky is expected to be clear during the day.
How will the weather be on 26, 27 and 28 December?
The Meteorological Department has also predicted mist or light to moderate fog in different parts of Delhi on 27 and 28 December in the morning. The sky will remain cloudy during the day and light to moderate rain or showers may occur with thunder and lightning. A yellow alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department on these two dates. On 26 December also, fog or light to moderate fog is expected in Delhi in the morning. The sky will remain partly cloudy. Light rain or showers are possible late at night.

A yellow alert has been issued for fog in the morning on 24 and 25 December in the areas of North Delhi, North East Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, South West Delhi, South East Delhi, New Delhi, Central Delhi, East Delhi, Shahdara, while rain or showers are expected on 27 and 28 December. On 26 December also, fog or light to moderate fog is expected in the morning in these areas of Delhi and light rain or showers are expected at night.
How will the weather be in NCR
Yellow alert has been issued for fog in the morning on 24th and 25th December at various places in Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad districts of NCR, while rain or showers are expected on 27th and 28th December. Light rain or showers may occur in these cities at night on 26th December as well. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 21 to 23 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature is expected to be 7 to 8 degree Celsius this week i.e. till 29th December.
