Mahakumbh 2025: Preparations for the Maha Kumbh are in full swing in Prayagraj. This Maha Kumbh, which is held every 12 years, will begin from January 13 this time and will conclude on February 26 on the day of Mahashivratri. During this time, the Uttar Pradesh government, along with the local authorities, is making arrangements for all things like accommodation, security and medical emergency for the sadhus and devotees who gather here in crores. It is expected that this time 40 crore people can come to the Maha Kumbh, so arrangements for their stay are also being made on a large scale on this basis.
Many arrangements for staying in the Maha Kumbh fair
The first name among these is The Ultimate Traveling Camp (TUTC), which has been set up near Sangam. This campsite has 44 luxurious tents, in which the rent for two people to stay is Rs 1 lakh per day. It has many facilities including butler, room heater, washroom, geyser. There is a lot of demand for these. Especially for 14 January, 29 January and 3 February, many of these tents have already been booked and royal baths will take place during these days.
Similarly, IRCTC has arranged for Maha Kumbh Gram and
IRCTC Tent City. You can book it by visiting IRCTC’s website www.irctctourism.com. In this, the prices of tents have been divided into four categories, deluxe, premium, deluxe on royal bath, premium on royal bath.

UPSTDC tent colony has also been arranged near Triveni Sangam for Mahakumbh, which has facilities of many setups from normal tents to villas, Swiss cottages, Maharaja cottages and dormitories. Its booking can be done by visiting kumbh.gov.in. Their price ranges from Rs 1,500 to Rs 35,000 per day. An extra charge of Rs 4,000 to Rs 8,000 will be levied for extra guests.
