DL Rules Changed: Rules changed regarding getting driving license, know what is the new rule

Getting a driving license is going to be more difficult. Now applicants coming to get a driving license will have to pass the test of simulator and 108 cameras. The Driving Training Center (DTC) starting from January 16 in Ghaziabad is going to make the driving test more difficult. This state-of-the-art system will curb fraud and reduce road accidents.

Driving License Rules changed: First Driving Training Centre (DTC) of the Divisional Transport Department will start from January 16. Here the driving test of the applicant will be conducted in a state-of-the-art manner. Every moment of driving activity will be recorded from 108 rooms.

The applicant will also have to pass the simulator test. The applicant will pass or fail the test only after observing the recording of the simulator and cameras. This will stop the fraud in the driving test. It is claimed that this will also reduce road accidents.

What was the system till now?

Till now, driving tests were conducted manually in the divisional transport office. In the name of taking the test, only a formality is done. Due to this, even those people used to pass the test who do not know how to drive. Due to this, road accidents are increasing.

Driving training centre is starting from 16th January. It will have cameras and simulators. It will be operated by a private agency. There will be no scope for fraud in it. Only those who know how to drive and are aware of traffic rules will pass the test. Pramod Kumar Singh Regional Transport Officer

In Ghaziabad, on an average 225 people undergo manual driving test every day. The department has set up a DTC for state-of-the-art driving test. The work of DTC is complete. 108 cameras have been installed in DTC. The responsibility of running the centre has been given to a private agency.

Every activity of the driver will be monitored

The test will be conducted under the supervision of the agency. At the same time, the responsibility of passing or failing the test will be of the officials. The video of every activity of the driver while driving will be recorded.

The applicant should know all the rules of traffic along with driving. Only if he knows every rule along with driving, he will pass the test. This will completely stop the fraud in testing.

The army of brokers will be banned

A large number of brokers sit outside the divisional transport office to help people pass the driving test. The brokers claim to help the applicant pass the test without taking the test. In return, they demand a lot of money.

When DTC starts, the number of brokers outside the office will reduce. The video record of 108 cameras will be kept safe at the center. It can be checked anytime in the future.

There will be 50 percent fewer tests

At present, more than 5000 people are tested every month, but in DTC, the number of people taking tests will reduce by 50 percent. Because each person will be tested as per the rules.

This may increase the problem of waiting. People will get a long date for the test. However, officials claim that there will be no problem of waiting.

What is a simulator?

A simulator is a replica of a real car. It has a steering wheel, gears, brakes, pedals, indicators and switches and speed control. The simulator is operated by hardware and software. It can also be called a laboratory to study driving behavior. Eco-driving training can also be provided through this.
