Indian Railways has decided to run Amrit Bharat 2.0 version trains keeping in mind the needs of low-income category passengers. Production of advanced coaches for Amrit Bharat 2.0 is going on at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) located in Chennai. Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited the coach factory and inspected the Amrit Bharat trains. He said that in the next two years, 50 Amrit Bharat trains will be seen on the track. These coaches will compete with the premium experience of semi-high speed Vande Bharat trains.
