Toll Plaza-42 of Punhana-Jurhera road will be closed after 12 midnight on Monday 17 February. After this, people will be able to travel from here without paying toll tax, which will provide relief to thousands of people.
Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena issued a statement on Wednesday and said that this action is being taken under the announcement of the Chief Minister of Haryana. The Deputy Commissioner said that this toll plaza was allotted to M/s A.S. Multipurpose Services for a period of 18 months, the period of which is ending at 12 midnight on 17 February 2025. Necessary instructions have also been issued by the Engineer-in-Chief, PWD (B&R) to close it.
After the closure of the toll plaza, passengers will not have to pay toll tax on this route. The closure of this toll was already announced by the Chief Minister, which is now being implemented. This decision will provide relief to the drivers traveling from Punhana-Jurhera Road to the Rajasthan border.
