Indane Gas Customers Can Now Book LPG Cylinder Through Missed Call: Check Details Here

or consumers of Indane Gas, booking an LPG cylinder is just a missed call away. Indian Oil LPG users can use a missed call number, 8454955555, for refill bookings anywhere in the nation, a press release said on Friday. A quicker way to book for customers without having to keep talks for a long time is to book refills via missed calls. In contrast to IVRS calls, where standard call charges are available, no call charges are imposed on consumers. This service will be of tremendous assistance to persons who are not skilled at IVRS or senior citizens customers, and also those in rural communities, the statement said. At an event in Bhubaneshwar, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan unveiled the missed call service for LPG customers.

For high-end vehicles, he also carried out the second step of world-class premium grade petrol (Octane 100), named as XP100 by Indian Oil. In this second step, the XP100 marketed by Indian Oil Company, which was launched last month in the capital city, was phased out on Friday in seven more cities: Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, Indore and Bhubaneswar. In Bhubaneswar, the missing call service to get a new LPG connection was also introduced and will soon be applied to the entire country. Pradhan, addressing the gathering, urged gas agencies and dealers to ensure that the time of delivery of LPG should be reduced to a few hours from one day.

He also claimed that the LPG nation has come a long way. In the six decades prior to 2014, the LPG connections were roughly 13 crore and the same has been raised to 30 crore in the last six years. Addressing the conveyance of the first shipment of XP100 from Digboi’s oldest operational refinery in the nation, Assam, Pradhan said the fuel is of world-class standard that would increase the performance of high-octane cars. This specialized petrol provided by the Digboi Refinery will satisfy the expectations of retail stores in cities in the north-east area of the nation. By refining XP-100 Petrol using current infrastructure and secondary processing facilities, Digboi entered the elite club of Mathura and Barauni refineries.
