Now a farmers’ own hospital has been opened on the Ghazipur border where oxygen cylinders are also available along with the bed. The purpose of making this hospital is to provide medical facilities to the farmers immediately in case of any emergency.
This hospital remains in service 24 hours. Doctor Vijay Sharma, who sees the entire management of this hospital, says that for the last 3 days, the hospital is working in this manner. Currently, 2 beds are provided in this hospital running in a tent. One oxygen cylinder is placed with both the beds as well as all the equipment of First Aid.
Dr. Vijay says that he has his own hospital in Greater Noida, which is named Gurudayal Hospital. But at the moment, he is giving his entire service to the farmers on the Ghazipur border. It is not only Doctor Vijay who provides health care, but Dr. Karmaveer Singh Shekho is also working with him step by step. Doctor Karmaveer has mastered mental health. And he has also practiced in the UK before this.
Dr. Vijay says that he treats around 300 patients every day. But in the last 3 days, about 60 patients have been associated with mental health, who are mostly suffering from depression. Many such patients were sent back home after giving advice, but many of them are still associated with the movement and are living on the Ghazipur border. Khalsa Help Foundation is also helping to run this hospital.
The doctors who run the hospital tell that till now 8 to 10 patients have come who need oxygen cylinders. Dr. Vijay tells that the oxygen level of a child had gone below 70 and we immediately referred him to Max Patparganj where he recovered in 48 hours. The entire treatment facility is free and if the need for hospitalization is required then the Khalsa Health Foundation is bearing the entire cost.
