Covid Vaccin: Government of India (Indian government) has announced to install Corona vaccine across the country from 16 January. Preparations for this have been intensified. The Serum Institute of India has delivered the Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccine to the Government of India. The first consignment of the vaccine was brought to Delhi on Tuesday morning through a special SpiceJet aircraft. SpiceJet flight carrying the vaccine from Pune airport left for Delhi at eight in the morning. Three hours earlier, the first batch of vaccine was cleared by filling it in three trucks from the production center of Serum Institute, 15 km from Pune Airport.
Government ordered
Pune Airport tweeted and said that India should be ready, the vaccine is being loaded into the aircraft to kill this epidemic, so that it can be distributed throughout the country. Three Tampere Controlled trucks were flown from the Serum Institute’s gate at 5 am to the Pune airport, from where vaccines are being transported across India. The government on Monday ordered the purchase of 1.1 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccine Kovishield from Oxford. Each vaccine costs Rs 210 including GST.
These arrangements made at Delhi Airport
Special arrangements have been made to keep the vaccine at Delhi Airport. From here the vaccine will be sent to many parts of the country. Temperature-controlled facility has been prepared at Delhi Airport. Here temperature can be maintained from -20 degree to +25 degree. Here, cool chambers have been made to contain the vaccine.
DIAL gave this information
According to DIAL, the company that runs the Delhi airport, both the terminals of the airport have the capacity to handle approximately 5.7 million corona vaccine vials a day. According to Dial’s CEO Videsh Kumar Jaipuria, all arrangements have been made for the transportation and transportation of the medicine at the airport.
Delivery is being done in so many places including Delhi
SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh said that SpiceJet’s flight arrived in Delhi with the first shipment of the Corona vaccine. The first batch of ‘Kovishield’ from Pune to Delhi has 34 boxes, due to which 1088 kg. Apart from Delhi, the vaccine is being delivered today from seven other flights at 12 different places in the country.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that today Air India, SpiceJet and Indigo Airlines with 56.5 lakh vaccine doses from Pune to Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Will operate 9 flights to Chandigarh. Let me tell you that earlier the police arrived at the Pune airport from the production center of Kovishield Vaccine Serum under security, from where it is now being delivered to the countrywide location. The Maharashtra government has decided to provide police protection to trucks carrying vaccines to airports and state borders.
