3 trucks carrying the Covishield vaccine arrived at the International Airport in Pune early Tuesday morning from the Serum Institute. From here the vaccine was sent to different parts of the country. In the trucks with which the vaccine was transported to Pune Airport, the temperature was kept 3 degrees. From here, 478 boxes of vaccines are being delivered in 13 cities of the country. Each box weighs about 32 kg. Worship was conducted at the Serum Institute before the vaccine-filled trucks were dispatched. In the first phase, vaccines are being airlifted to Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Karnal, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guwahati, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Bhubaneswar. While the vaccine will be sent directly to Mumbai via truck.
