The biggest advantage of doing this is that after missing or stolen, nobody will be able to misuse your base because it will be locked. You can lock your Aadhaar via SMS.
For this, Aadhaar user will have to SMS on the given number 1947 of UIDAI. Give space by writing ‘GETOTP’ in SMS and send the last 4 numbers of your Aadhaar to 1947. After getting the OTP, type the number of the end of the Aadhaar card and type the OTP received and send it to 1947, giving the space type LOCKUID. After this UIDAI will lock your Aadhaar and you will also get its SMS.
