PMAY-G: Under the PM Awas Yojana, PM Narendra Modi has released 2691 crore rupees.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: Under the PM Awas Yojana , PM Narendra Modi has released 2691 crore rupees. These have been sent to the bank accounts of the people, so that more than 6 lakh houses will be constructed in rural areas. This amount has been released for Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi said that having his own house increases confidence in people. Self-reliance is directly related to self-confidence. Explain that under the PM Awas Yojana Gramin, loans are given to low income people on subsidy to build houses.

PM Modi said that today together, more than 6 lakh families of UP have been directly transferred about Rs 2,700 crore to their bank account. There are more than 5 lakh of these families who got their first installment to build a house. Today there are also 80 thousand families who are getting the second installment of their house. Now next winter will not be so difficult for your family. In the next winter you will also have your own house and the house will also have facilities.

2 crore houses built in rural areas

PM Modi said that the country had set a target of giving pucca houses to every poor family till the completion of 75 years of independence. In the past years, about two crore houses have been built only in rural areas. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana alone, the key of about 1.25 crore houses has been given to the people. The most special thing about this whole campaign is that all the houses are being built. Money is being given directly to the bank accounts of the poor for everyone. There are about 22 lakh rural houses to be built in UP. Out of these 21.5 lakh houses have also been approved for construction.

PM Narendra Modi has transferred the first installment of housing construction to the 5.3 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and the second installment to 80 thousand beneficiaries under the financial year 2020-21. In PMAY-G (PMAYG), if your income is up to 6 lakh rupees per annum, then a loan linked subsidy of 6.5 percent will be available on a loan of 6 lakh rupees. The loan should be for a maximum period of 20 years. If you want more than this to build a house, then you will have to take a loan with the normal interest rate on that additional amount.

Subsidy calculation

Annual Income: Rs 6 Lakh

Maximum Loan Amount: Rs 6 Lakh

Subsidy: 6.5 Percent

Loan Amount: Rs 6 Lakh

Interest Rate: 9

Percent Monthly EMI: Rs 5398

Total Interest in 20 Years: Rs 6.95 Lakh

6.5 Percent Subsidy NPV will be Rs 2,67,000 after your interest subsidy. According to this, your PMAY loan actually becomes Rs 3.33 lakh instead of Rs 6 lakh.
