Indian Railways, IRCTC, Vande Bharat Express Train: Government has given 44 new semi-high speed ‘Vande Bharat Train’ sets to railway passengers. The government has awarded the contract to the Indian company Medha Servo Drives Ltd, completing the tender process for the construction of these trains.
This company will build these trains under ‘Make in India’. ‘Vande Bharat Express’ is one of the ambitious train project of Modi government. It is also known as Train 18. It is being told that these trains will start running from next year. The first Vande Bharat train set was completed in 18 months. Construction of this project began in 2017.
The first Vande Bharat Express was operated on 15 February 2019. This train was run between Delhi and Varanasi. 1. It is a semi high speed train
2. These trains run at a speed of 130 kmph
2. The seat in the coach is turned up to 180 degree
3. Deep freezers are installed in the coach for the
passengers 4. The passengers State-of-the-art onboard infotainment system is provided
5. Special film is installed on windows.
Please tell that railway e-catering service is starting again from February. Due to Corona crisis, the service of the train, which has been closed since last March, will provide great relief to the railway passengers. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has been approved by the Ministry of Railways. In the past, there was a demand from the railways that the situation in Corona is improving, so the e-catering service should also be resumed.
