How to apply for a new cheque book after all the leaves of your State Bank of India (SBI) cheque book are exhausted? SBI account holders can apply forcheque book delivery online through the bank’s internet banking at any address of their choice.

The largest bank in India has informed its customers that they can request the cheque book to be delivered to any address without visiting the bank branch. This means that users do not have to worry about staying at the bank’s registered address now.

Apply online
According to the bank’s website, you can request a book online. You can request acheck book for any of your savings, current, cash credit and overdraft accounts. You can choose check books with 25, 50 or 100 leaves. You can buy it directly from a branch or request the branch to send it by post or courier. You can choose to have the check book delivered to your registered address or you can provide another address.
How to apply for SBI check Book?
- Sign in with your SBI Net Banking Account using your username and password.
- After logging in, a new page will appear here Click on the ‘Request & Inquiries’ option.
- From the drop-down menu, click on the ‘check Book Request’ option.
- On the next screen, all your account details will be displayed.
- Select the account for which you want the check book.
- Enter the number of check leaves you want on the new page. The option may be given in the dropbox
- After selecting the option, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Select your delivery address on the new page. There are three options available (Registered Address, Last Available Address or New Address) Click on any one of these options.
- After selecting the address, click Submit.
- check the details of the check book request and confirm by sending the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
