From February 1, people will be able to put in swimming pools, cinema hall seats also increased, new guide line released

According to the new COVID-19 guidelines0, there will be no restriction on movement within states or from one state to another.

Covid-19 guidelines: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed cinema halls and theaters to continue to operate with greater capacity under the new COVID-19 guidelines. Approved to open swimming pools for everyone. This new guideline will be applicable from February 1.




According to the new guide line (new COVID-19 guidelines0, there will not be any restriction on movement within states or from one state to another. There is no need to get any permission for this. Some outside the Containment Zone All activities are allowed except and standard operating procedure (SOP) has to be followed.

Social, religious, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, religious gathering has already been allowed to open in the hall with maximum 50 percent capacity. Up to 200 people will be allowed in closed places.

Cinema halls and theaters increased

It has been said in the guidelines that such mobilization will be allowed according to the SOP of the respective states and union territories. Cinema halls and theaters were allowed to open with a maximum of 50 percent capacity. Now they will be able to work with more capacity. For this, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will issue a revised SOP in consultation with the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Swimming pools Open for all

The swimming pool was already allowed for the players. Now permission has been given to open it for everyone. Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (Ministry of Youth Affairs), in consultation with the Union Home Ministry, will issue a revised standard operating procedure for this.

Permission for business exhibition has already been given. All types of exhibitions will now be allowed. For this, the Department of Commerce will issue the SOP in consultation with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.




The district administration will mark the Containment Zone if required. To prevent infection within the containment zone, the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health have to be followed. It will be the responsibility of the district, police and corporation to strictly follow the rules in these areas.

It was said in the guidelines that the state and the union territory will take all necessary steps to promote the adoption of appropriate behavior in relation to Kovid-19. Wearing masks, following proper distance and hand washing will increase awareness.
