Kusum Yojana: Good news for farmers, now install solar panel and earn more, government will spend up to 90%

With the help of Kusum Yojana, farmers can put solar panels on their land and use the electricity generated from it for irrigation of fields.

The Central Government had started the Kusum Yojana keeping in view the irrigation and farmer energy security in the areas facing the power crisis. The budget session starts today. The session began with President Ram Nath Kovind’s address. In his address, the President told about the benefits to the people of the country from the schemes of the Modi government. Referring to the Prime Minister Kusum Yojana, President Ramnath Kovind said that under this, 20 lakh solar pumps are being given to the farmers. How to earn

With the help of Kusum Yojana, farmers can put solar panels on their land and use the electricity generated from it for irrigation of fields.

Uninterrupted power supply can be started in the village with the electricity generated on the farmer’s land. Through this scheme, the government will benefit the farmers in two ways.

Farmers will get electricity free for irrigation and if they make additional power and send it to the grid, then they will also earn it.

If a farmer has barren land, then with the help of Kusum scheme, he can also earn good income from solar power generation. Under the Kusum scheme, the central government is giving 27.5 lakh solar pump sets free of cost throughout the country in the first phase.

Special features of Kusum scheme

1. Farmers will have to pay only 10 percent of the amount for installing solar energy equipment.

 

2. The central government will give subsidy amount to the farmers in the bank account.

 

3. In Kusum Yojana, banks will give 30 percent amount as loan to farmers.

 

4. Plants will be set up on barren land for solar energy.
