Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a scheme of the Government of India. It was launched in July 2015.
The third phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) started on 15 January 2021. Under this, the youth of the country will be given training in skills related to employment. Under this scheme, more than 300 syllabus will be available to the youth.
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 3.0 The scheme started in the presence of the Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Mahendra Nath Pandey. Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship RK Singh was also present in this program. Under PMKVY 3.0, eight lakh people will be trained during the period 2020-21 of the scheme. It will cost Rs 948.90 crore.
Scheme under PMKVY 3.0
PMKVY 3.0, the flagship scheme of the Skill India Mission of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, focuses on making skill development more demand-based. The ministry said in a statement that a new initiative has been started by adding district skills committees to PMKVY 3.0.
Purpose of this plan
The objective of the third phase of this scheme is to strengthen and empower the District Skill Committees as well as to promote demand based skill development initiatives. PMKVY 3.0 is a pioneering scheme in terms of “one country, one plan”.
What is special about this scheme
No fee is charged for the training of PMKVY. PMKVY registers for 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. After completing the course, you get a certificate, which is recognized all over the country. After training, the government also helps in getting jobs through employment fairs.
About the Prime Minister’s Skill Development Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a scheme of the Government of India. It was launched in July 2015. Under this scheme, it was planned to train one crore youth by 2020. The objective of this scheme is to provide employment to such people who are less educated or drop out of school in between.
The main objective of this scheme is to organize all the youth groups in the country and improve their skills and give them employment according to their ability. Under this scheme, 24 lakh youth will be included in the first year. After this, there is a plan to take this number to 40.2 crores by 2022.
