The court has said that abortion can be allowed in the country only if the pregnancy is stalled due to rape or if the mother’s life is threatened in the event of the birth of the child. Movements have also started in Poland since the government imposed the ban on abortion almost entirely. A large number of people have opposed this rule by taking to the streets.
