BKU Lokshakti announces return to farmer movement, Rahul Gandhi’s appeal – don’t back off 1 inch

The Bharatiya Kisan Union Lokshakti has announced to return to the peasant movement. The union has decided to return to the Ghazipur border. Significantly, this decision has been taken after the passionate appeal of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait yesterday. Earlier, the union had ended its sit-in. Officials of the Bharatiya Kisan Union Lok Shakti had announced a letter to the Minister of Agriculture, Tomar, to separate himself from the peasant movement.

Rahul Gandhi said, “The government should talk to the farmers and give them some solution. As I have said earlier, the only solution to this is to withdraw these agricultural laws. I want to tell the farmers that we are all with you. Do not step back an inch, this is your future. Do not let these 5-10 people who are trying to steal your future, we will help you. ”

Earlier, Agriculture Minister Tomar had said that the proposal made by the government to farmers to avoid agricultural laws for one to one and a half years is the best proposal. The minister said that he hopes that the farmers will consider this proposal of the government and will inform the government as soon as possible.

It may be known that the negotiations between the farmers and the government have been fruitless till now. The government and the farmers have held 11 rounds of talks, but the road to settlement has not been seen yet. After the 10th round of talks, the Center proposed to the farmers that the government would not implement the laws for one to one and a half years.

Explain that while giving support to the movement of Bharatiya Kisan Union, National Convenor of Yuva Chetna Manch, Rohit Kumar Singh sat on a dharna on Friday. Singh has sat on a dharna near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Shaheed Park in the Chowk of the district headquarters along with the workers of Manch.

Taking a dig at the central government, he alleged that the government is persecuting the farmers in New Delhi. He said that what happened at the Red Fort in Delhi is condemnable. He alleged that the BJP and the Sangh were behind the incident at the Red Fort on Republic Day.

Singh said that the entire country stands with the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait and if anything happens to Tikait, the BJP government will have to bear the brunt of it.
