Yogi Adityanath Cabinet Expansion: Yogi Adityanath cabinet may be expanded before budget session

Lucknow, Yogi Adityanath Cabinet Expansion: Before the February 18 budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature, there will be a big stir in the politics of the state. After two elections to the Legislative Council with the by-election to the Legislative Assembly, it is now the turn of the reshuffle with expansion in the Yogi Adityanath cabinet. In this, after cabinet minister Chetan Chauhan, filling the vacant seat in the death of Kamal Rani Varun, six new ministers can also be sworn in.




With the two-day stay of BJP national president JP Nadda, Yogi Adityanath was looking to expand in the cabinet due to the constant activism of BJP Uttar Pradesh in-charge Radha Mohan Singh. Senior BJP leaders have also held meetings in this regard. Meanwhile, during the BJP national president JP Nadda’s visit to Lucknow, there was a discussion about the expansion of the Yogi Adityanath cabinet. Meanwhile, the discussion of cabinet expansion gained momentum after CM Yogi Adityanath’s meeting with Governor Anandiben Patel on 25 January.

It is believed that the Yogi Adityanath cabinet will be expanded on February 4. Six new ministers will be sworn in, while some will also be promoted. Chetan Chauhan, who was a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government and Kamala Rani Varun, died due to a Corona virus infection. Due to this, two cabinet ministers are vacant. There is a preparation to give new faces to the cabinet. The MLA, who is a claimant for the post of minister, is camping in the Delhi Durbar, while the newly elected Legislative Council member of the state, Arvind Kumar Sharma, is also considered to be a minister.




Before the last budget session of the government regarding cabinet expansion, the stir in politics in the state has intensified. Yogi Adityanath cabinet of the state may be extended on February 4. The BJP may also find some new faces in the Yogi Adityanath cabinet after a huge success in the Legislative Council elections. Assembly elections will be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2022 February-March. Along with this, Panchayat elections are also to be held in March or April. This will also be taken care of in the expansion of the cabinet.
