In Bihar, the monkey stopped the Rajdhani Express for an hour, Lokmanya Tilak also had to wait

Buxar, Jagran correspondent. Rajdhani Express had to be stopped for about an hour after the monkey was killed in Buxar, Bihar. The monkey jumped on the overhead wire at around 09.30 am on Thursday morning near the Thora river bridge at Pavani Kamarpur Halt in Chausa Buxar railway block. Due to this the current flow in the wire was stopped, due to which the operation of trains on the down rail line was interrupted. This prevented the Rajdhani Express at Chausa railway station for about an hour. Apart from this, Raxaul Lokmanya Tilak Express was also stopped at Chausa railway station for about 20 minutes. The railway station manager immediately informed the TRD Manoj Kumar after the incident. The defect was rectified by sending technical personnel. After nearly an hour of struggle, around 10:30 pm the fault was rectified and the Rajdhani Express was first forwarded. After this, operations started to smooth around 11:00 pm.

In relation to the incident, PRD Manoj Kumar said that it took about an hour to correct the malfunction caused by the monkey jumping on the overhead wire. The incident took place around the Chora river bridge between Pawni Kamarpur Halt and Buxar near pole number 663 of the down line. As a precaution, 02310 Down Rajdhani Express was stopped for one hour at Chausa railway station as soon as the incident was received. Apart from this, Lokmanya Tilak-Terminal Raxaul Express also had to stop at the railway station for about 20 minutes. However, operations have become normal.

Commotion among passengers

Due to the train being stopped at Chausa railway station for one hour, there was an atmosphere of panic among the passengers of Rajdhani Express.
