Visva Bharati Shanti Niketan invited applications for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Interested and eligible applicants can apply to these posts through the prescribed format on or before 27 February 2021. Notification for the vacancy of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor has been issued on visvabharati.ac.in, the official website of Visva Bharati Shanti Niketan. .

According to the notification issued by Visva Bharati Shanti Niketan, 33 posts of Professor, 53 posts of Associate Professor and 20 posts of Assistant Professor are vacant. The selected candidates will be given 1,44,200 pay scale as per 7th CPC. At the same time, selected candidates for the post of Associate Professor will be given a salary of Rs 1,31,400 as per 7th CPC. Candidates selected on the post of Assistant Professor will be given a pay scale of Rs 57,700 as per 7th CPC. Educational Qualification:
To apply for the post of Associate Professor, candidates should have a good academic record, and a PhD degree in related subjects as well as a master’s degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized institution. On the other hand, to apply for the post of Assistant Professor, candidates must have a Master’s degree with 55% marks in a related subject from a recognized university or a post graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. How to apply:
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacant posts of Visva Bharati Shanti Niketan through the prescribed application format on or before 27 February 2021. No Traveling Allowance (TA) / Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
