Farmers should apply for the loan waiver up to 50 thousand by March 31, know the entire process of loan waiver
Ranchi, Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana Jharkhand, Jharkhand Farmers Loan Waiver The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has announced the waiver of bank loans of up to 50 thousand rupees for 9 lakh farmers of the state. Work on it has now started in the current financial year. After the important announcement by Governor Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January, the process for waiving the debts of farmers together has started in all the districts from Wednesday.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced this major decision on December 29, following the completion of one year of the JMM government. 2000 crores has been sanctioned under the Kisan loan waiver scheme. With this amount, loans up to Rs. 50 thousand will be waived for all ryots and non-ryots. Here, a meeting was held with the District Level Committee (DLC) regarding the Jharkhand Agriculture Debt Waiver Scheme in the districts.

It said that farmers will be able to get information related to the waiver of their loan by paying just one rupee. After this, the concerned officer will inform the beneficiary about the Jharkhand Agriculture Loan Waiver Scheme and bring the eligible farmers to the bank branches. Krishak Mitras have also been entrusted with great responsibility for the successful operation of the Jharkhand Kisan Debt Waiver Scheme.
