So he has given actor Abhimanyu Singh a place in the film to compete with Akshay. Abhimanyu Singh will be seen in the film in the role of a villain who will have to face Akshay Kumar.
Born in Sonpur, Bihar, actor Abhimanyu Singh has been active in TV and films for almost two decades. He made his debut in Hindi films with the film Aks, directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. Released in 2001, the film featured Raveena Tandon, Amitabh Bachchan and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles. After this Abhimanyu acted in Hindi films like ‘Lakshya’, ‘Gulal’, ‘Dhol’, ‘Jannat’, ‘Rakht Charitra’, ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela- Ramlila’, ‘Jazbaa’, ‘Mom’.
Along with this, Abhimanyu continued to work in Tamil and Telugu language films as well. Abhimanyu Singh, along with Akshay Kumar, has also played an important role in the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara, released in 2013. Abhimanyu, who plays an important character, will also be seen in Akshay Kumar’s film Suryavanshi. The film has been ready since the beginning of last year but has not been released yet.
Now the third out Abhimanyu will be seen in his film ‘Bachchan Pandey’ with Akshay Kumar. The film is being directed by Farhad Samji. Apart from Akshay, the film will feature actors like Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandes, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateek Babbar. It has been learned about Akshay’s character that he will be playing a gangster in the film who wants to become an actor. At the same time, Kriti Sanon’s character will be that of a journalist. Arshad Warsi will also be a gangster but he will be associated with Akshay’s character as well as in the circuit of ‘Munnabhai’.
Shooting of the film ‘Bachchan Pandey’ has started from January 6 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Although the film was scheduled to be released on 25 December 2020, but due to the corona virus, the film could not start shooting. With this, actor Aamir Khan’s film ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ was also scheduled to be released but Aamir could not complete his film ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. Now Aamir’s film will be released on Christmas 2021 while Akshay will bring his film on 26 January 2022.
