New Delhi: Gold and silver prices fell on Thursday in futures trade. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 11:34 am in April, 2021, the price of delivery gold was down by Rs 428 i.e. 0.90 per cent to Rs 47,388 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the gold price in April contract was Rs 47,816 per 10 grams. On the other hand, in June 2021, delivery gold was trending at Rs 47,501 per 10 gram, with a price decrease of Rs 406 i.e. 0.85 per cent. Prior to this, on Wednesday, the gold price of June contract was at Rs 47,907 per 10 grams.
Silver Price in Futures Rate in the futures market
Similarly, at 11:36 am on March 2021 on the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver was trading at Rs 67,460 per kg with a break of Rs 1,105, or 1.61 per cent. In the previous session, silver was priced at Rs 68,565 per kg. On the other hand, silver for delivery in May 2021 was trading at Rs 68,550 per kg with a rupee of Rs 1,072, or 1.54 per cent. Earlier, on Wednesday, the price of May contract silver was at Rs 69,622 per kg.
Gold Price in Global Market
According to Bloomberg, gold on Comex was down by $ 13.20, or 0.72 per cent, at $ 1,821.90 an ounce. Similarly, in the spot market, the price of gold was trending at $ 1,823.64 an ounce with a decrease of $ 10.40, or 0.57 per cent.
Silver Price in Global Market
According to Bloomberg, silver was trading at $ 26.56 an ounce, a fall of $ 0.33, or 1.22 per cent, on Comex. On the other hand, silver was trading at $ 26.55 an ounce, a decrease of $ 0.34, or 1.25 percent, in the spot market.
