We are talking about PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This is one of Modi’s dream schemes. Now the central government has decided to strictly act on 33 lakh farmers of the country who cheated the real farmers by committing fraud. 2326 crore will be recovered from such farmers. However, there will be no recovery from any farmer in West Bengal. Because there is not a single beneficiary.
Not a single rupee recovery from 17 states
According to the Union Agriculture Ministry officials, Rs 231 crore has been recovered. But still not a single rupee has been recovered from 17 states. The ‘Good Governance Government’ of Bihar has issued a recovery list for the convenience of its fake farmers. In which names and phone numbers of such farmers of every gram sabha have been given, who illegally took advantage of the PM Kisan Scheme. But instead of 34 crores, only Rs 70,000 has been recovered.
Money will be withdrawn under any circumstances
Believe that if there is government money, then there will be a recovery. Otherwise an FIR will be lodged and jail air will be consumed. So it would be good if you have wrongly taken the money, then deposit it back in the government treasury. The government’s message is clear that those who are not entitled to it will not get money. Action will also be taken on the officers and employees who are negligent.
States more accountability
However, the government has made it clear that the state governments have full responsibility to identify the real farmer families. Because revenue is a state subject. It is the job of the central government to give money. But who is a farmer and who is not, the state will be able to decide it. He has the record of the land.
How will real farmers get their rights like this?
In Uttar Pradesh, 1,78,398 farmers have taken unfair advantage. But despite being a BJP-ruled government, no recovery has been made so far. While Rs 171 crore is to be recovered. Not a single rupee was recovered in Odisha instead of 4.68 crores. In Assam, 5,81,652 farmers have taken money through fake means. Instead of Rs 377 crore, the state government has recovered only Rs 4000. The question is, if the recovery is done at the same speed then how will the real farmers get the benefit.
