LPG Connection: Budget 2021 was presented by Finance Nirmala Sitharaman on 1 February in Budget 2021 Parliament House. During this time, he had announced gas connections to 1 crore more people for providing LPG connection under Ujjwala Yojana. He said that the Ujjwala scheme will be expanded. 1 crore people will be brought under this ambit. Explain that the benefit of this scheme according to the 2011 census, families which fall under the BPL category. Those people can take advantage of this scheme. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Scheme, the government provides domestic LPG (LPG) connection to the families living below the poverty line. Under this Ujjwala scheme, a target has been set to provide free LPG connections to a total of 8 crore BPL families.
Know what is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
The Central Government provides financial assistance of Rs. 1600 under the Ujjwala Scheme under the Financial Assistance Scheme to every family living below the poverty line under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Scheme. These money are given to buy LPG gas connections. Along with this, installment (EMI) can also be provided to cover the expenses incurred in buying the stove and filling LPG cylinders for the first time.
How to apply
Under the Ujjwala scheme, any woman from the BPL family can apply to get a gas connection. For this, filling the KYC form will have to be submitted to the Nazi LPG Center. While applying, you have to tell whether you want a 14.2 kg cylinder or 5 kg. You can download the form of Ujjwala scheme from the website of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme or it will also be available from LPG center. To take advantage of this scheme, documents like BPL card, Ration card, Aadhar card, Voter ID, Passport size photo, Ration card, Bank statement are required.
