The Shatabdi train between New Delhi and Kalka will be operational from today. New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi will run on the track from February 8, about ten months later. The same train will leave for Delhi in the morning from Kalka via Chandigarh. As per the order issued by Ambala Division, the train will run from New Delhi Railway Station not from its old number 12005/12006 but from the new number 02005. In return, from Kalka railway station, number 02006 will run on the rail route to Delhi.

02005 New Delhi Kalka Shatabdi Special train will run from New Delhi from February 8 at 5:15 pm and will reach Kalka railway station at 9:15 pm on the same day via Panipat, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantonment via Chandigarh Railway Station. 02006 Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi train will depart from Kalka at 06:15 am on February 9 and will reach New Delhi at 10:15 am via Chandigarh, Ambala Cantonment, Kurukshetra, Panipat.
