Interested candidates can apply under the ‘National Youth Corps’ project on the official website of NYKS, nyks.nic.in. The application will continue till 20 February.
NYKS will recruit 13,208 volunteers across the country under the Union Youth Ministry. About two volunteers will be recruited at each center. To be deployed initially for one year. This deadline will start from April 1. It will continue till 31 March next year. Admission can also be done in the second year. The online application process for this has started from 5 February 2021. At the same time, the interview will be from 25 February to 1 March. Its results will be announced on March 15, 2021.
Eligibility and age limit
Applicants should have passed 10th standard. However, students who have been given admission in regular courses will not get opportunity in this project. This opportunity will not be given for regular work. Special discounts will be given if you have knowledge of computer operating and are members of NYKS approved youth club. Candidates who have previously completed the NYKS course or dropped out in the middle will not be able to apply. By 1 April this year, applicants must be between 18 and 29 years of age.
Selection process
In this, the selection of the candidates will be done through the Selection Process. All documents required by the applicants during the interview and their photocopies, two passport size photographs and applicants should have Aadhaar card, valid email ID and phone number.
