According to the telecom users data, the two largest telecom companies of India are Airtel and Reliance Jio. But both companies seem to be lagging far behind in terms of call quality. Vodafone Idea (Vi) has again won the best call quality in terms of the best call quality, leaving behind these two giant telecom companies. Vodafone-Idea was the telecom company in January 2021 providing the best call quality. This has been revealed from the dashboard of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
BSNL lagged behind in call drop
Vodafone’s call drop in January 2021 was just 4.46 percent. While Idea’s call drop was 3.66 percent. If you talk about Reliance Jio, then its call drop has been 7.17 percent. The same Airtel’s call drop has been lower (6.96 per cent) than Jio. Government telecom company BSNL has the highest drop of 11.55 per cent.
Idea tops in call quality
Idea has scored 4.8 out of 5 in January 2021 in terms of voice quality. Whereas Vodafone stood at the second position with 4.2 out of 5 points. In this list, Reliance Jio and Airtel got third place with 3.9 out of 5 points. The same BSNL has got the fourth position with 3.8 points. Vodafone leads in indoor call quality
This data of TRAI is mostly prepared on the basis of feedback from users. Talking about indoor call quality, here too Vodafone has got a 4.2 rating, while in outdoor this company has got a 4.1 rating. This company has got an average of 4.4 in both indoor and outdoor call quality. Talking about Reliance Jio, this company got a 4.0 rating in indoor calling while in outdoor this company got a rating of 3.7. Similarly, Airtel has got a 3.9 rating in indoor call quality.
