Muzaffarpur, . For the Kumbh Mela, full preparations were made to impose duty of hundreds of railway personnel from all the five divisions of East Central Railway. But after the sudden news comes, the railwaymen will no longer go on duty for Kumbh. Chandrashekhar Prasad, Senior DCM, Sonpur Railway Division has informed all the station managers of the division about cancellation.
Explain that in view of the Kumbh Mela, about 200 railwaymen from Muzaffarpur including booking clerk and other departments were enlisted for duty in Kumbh Mela. All railwaymen have breathed a sigh of relief from being canceled on duty. Senior DCM said that, due to some reason the duty was canceled, they are not aware of it. This may have happened with the Corona era. But the data of railwaymen from all places was collected for sending to Kumbh Mela.
Extension of time of Muzaffarpur-Dehradur Express
The Muzaffarpur-Dehradun Weekly Express departed from Monday. This train has been extended till 29 March. The tragedy in Chhattisgarh has no effect on the running of trains.
