If you are an EPF member, you must add a nominee for your PF to your UAN member portal, so that in the event of your death your nominee can easily submit a claim. So that they can get benefit of your PF and pension. EPFO has stated in a circular on 12 September 2019 that PF members can file e-enrollment online.
In order to file a nomination it is necessary that the member’s Aadhaar is linked to the UAN and verified, you can check it in your UAN KYC and the member’s profile photo is uploaded in the UAN profile.

- First of all login to the UAN member portal with your UAN number, password and captcha code.
- Click on the option ” VIEW ” on the profile option.

- The photo was taken with a digital camera. You can use mobile or DSLR.
- The photograph created is in the size of 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm.
- At least 80% of your face should be visible in the photo. Which should also show both your ears.
- Photo must be in jpeg, jpg or png format.
How To File EPF E-Nomination?
1. First of all, you have to login on the UAN member portal .
2. After login, a popup window will open in which you will have the option to file e-nomination ” File Now “, or you can also file your nominee by clicking on E-nomination on the tab ” Manage “.
3. After this a new page will open where you will be asked whether you have a family or not. So if you have a family, do ” YES ” or you can do ” NO “.
4. After this a new page will open, which you want to nominate , you will have to give the following information-
a) Aadhaar b) Name c) Date of birth d) Gender e) Relation f) Address g) Bank account details (Optional) h) Guardian i) Photo. (Remember the photograph size cannot exceed 100 KB.)
You can also add more than one nominee, for this you have to click on ” ADD ROW” .
5. To enter your nominee, now you have to click on ‘ Save Family Details ‘. And your nomination file will be saved successfully and after some time you will see your nominee in the same tab under Manage.
