VLCC Femina Miss India World 2020 has been won be Manasa Varanasi. Read on to know all about the show.
The Miss India contest happens to be one of the biggest beauty pageants in the country. Several girls from each corner of the country participate to compete against each other. The winner of this annual contest further represents India at the international Miss World pageant.
While adhering to all the necessary precautions due to the current pandemic of the novel coronavirus, the grand finale of the Miss India contest was conducted on Wednesday night.
The title of VLCC Femina Miss India World 2020 has been won by Manasa Varanasi. She is a 23-year-old engineer from Telangana. The prestigious crown was forwarded to her by Miss World Asia 2019 Suman Rao. 
Other than her, Manika Sheokand from Haryana was declared Miss Grand India 2020, whereas, Uttar Pradesh’s Manya Singh emerged as the VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 – runner-up. They were crowned by Miss India Grand International 2019 Shivani Jadhav and Miss India United Continents 2019 Shreya Shanker respectively.
The participants were seen oozing oomph in the most gorgeous attires designed by Bhawna Rao. The ornaments for the pageant were from Shobha Shringar Jewellers, whereas the hair and makeup was done by the team of Bianca Louzado.
This was the first time that the Miss India pageant was held digitally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 57th edition of the contest was conducted in four phases. The grand finale, the last phase was a star-studded affair.

Several Bollywood celebrities and ace designers were invited as the Miss India jury panel. The list included names like Neha Dhupia, Chitrangada Singh, Pulkit Samrat and renowned designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock.
The show was hosted by dashing Aparshakti Khurana. He looked dapper in his navy-blue tuxedo. The contest also witnessed an astonishing performance by actress Vaani Kapoor. She set fire on the stage with her dance moves.
Other than her, Miss World Asia 2019 Suman Rao performed for the opening round of the pageant. The grand finale of the VLCC Femina Miss India World 2020 contest will be aired on February 28, 2021, on Colors TV channel.
