Ration Card News: Under the National Food Security Scheme, the Aadhaar in Ration card of all family members on the ration card has now been made necessary. By 31 March 2021, the ration card of which all the members will not have an Aadhaar number, the supply of food grains will be stopped by blocking that ration card. The Food and Consumer Protection Department of the Government of Bihar (Bihar Govt) has released information in this regard.
It has been told that all ration card holders should get free Aadhaar seeding of all the members mentioned on their card through the nearest POS available at the nearest public distribution system vendor. A time limit has also been set for this. It has been told that if the Aadhaar seeding of a member has been done earlier, then there is no need to do it again.
