Go to the income tax website and link it. Register yourself before visiting the
- income tax e-filing website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in .
- Link Aadhaar option will appear on the left hand side of the income tax website.
- Click on this link.
- A new page will open after doing this. On this enter the PAN number, Aadhaar number, date of birth along with the name filled on the basis.
- After this, fill the captcha code and click on the tab of Link Aadhaar. After this your Aadhaar will be linked.
To make a link
through SMS, to link PAN card to Aadhaar via SMS, go to the message box, type UIDPN in the capital letter and after that give your 12 digit Aadhaar number by giving space and then type a 10 digit PAN number by giving space . Then SMS this message to 567678 or 56161. After doing this, the Income Tax Department will start the process of linking these two documents and will send the confirmation message when the link is made.
