Because Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has taken the initiative to make people aware about this.




RBI explained how to check fake notes 

The RBI has given a way to identify which note is real and which is real. The Reserve Bank is making people aware on the occasion of Financial Awareness Week. On this occasion, Regional Director Laxmikant Rao has shared many important information. During the awareness week, information was given through a booklet regarding the identity between the real and fake currency of ten, twenty, fifty and two hundred rupees.

Identification of 50 rupee real note 

1. The original note of 50 rupees matches with 50 in the denomination in the front part

2. 50 is written in Devanagari

3. In the middle is a photo of Mahatma Gandhi

4. Reserve Bank of India, Non-Metallic Suradha is thread

5. On the right side is the emblem of Ashoka Pillar

6. ElectoIP is a 50 watermark

7. Number panel is written in small increasing size on the top left side and bottom right

8. In the 50 rupee note on the back The year of printing is

9. The logo and slogan of Swachh Bharat is

10 language panels and the size is 66 * 135 mm.

Identification of 200 rupee real note 

1. R cross matching with denomination number 200 in front of banknote

2. Latent picture with denomination 200, 200 denomination mark in Devanagari

3. Picture of Mahatma Gandhi in the middle, Reserve Bank of India and micro of 200 Characters

4. There is a non-metallic safety thread with the Reserve Bank of India including a change in color

5. The color of the thread changes from green to blue when the note is skewed

6. The right guarantee section of Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait

7. Governor’s signature with promissory clause

Actually, in a 200 rupee note, almost all the things are there, just the green thread appears in blue color when the note is slant.
