India-China Pangong Tso: China has withdrawn its troops from Pangong Lake and removed the structures there. It was decided to withdraw the army between the two countries on this condition.
After agreeing to withdraw forces between India and China from the Pangong lake of Beijing Ladakh, the dragon has finally begun to crush its bags. There was an agreement between the two countries that China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will release Finger 8. Indian soldiers will also go between Finger 2 and 3 at the Dhan Singh Thapa post. The Chinese PLA is finally evacuating Finger 4 on the northern shore of Pangong Lake. It is believed that the entire process from both sides will be done in a week.
The PLA occupied it here last year and changed the status quo with India. Chinese soldiers are removing shelters and other structures built here. India says that Finger is our territory till 8 while China claims its claim till Finger 4. There have been skirmishes between the two armies in the region. The area is 8 km from the northern coast of Pangong. After both armies retreat, patrolling will begin when the two sides reach an agreement through diplomatic and military negotiations.

India had laid the condition, in
fact, during the talks being held to take back the forces, India had clearly said that if Finger 5 is not empty then the agreement cannot be reached. On this, China sought permission to allow at least 30 soldiers to be present at Finger 5, but India still did not agree. After all, when China agreed to withdraw completely from Finger 8, India also agreed to bring its army back to Finger 3.
Deal to destroy the infrastructure
Even after this, India had placed a condition that between 3 and 8 fingers no country would be patrolling. India persuaded China that whatever infrastructure the PLA erected after April 2020 would be destroyed. China started the construction process between Finger 8 and 4 when India got involved in the Kargil war with Pakistan in 1999. In 10 years, China has made heavy construction here.
