According to the new reservation policy for UP Panchayat Election 2021 (UP Panchayat Election 2021), the process of reservation of seats for Pradhan, Gram Panchayat member, Kshetra Panchayat member, Zilla Panchayat member will start from today.
According to the new policy, the work of Panchayat Election Reservation will start in Uttar Pradesh from today. On March 2 and 3, the last list of reservation for all posts will also be made public. Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Singh has ordered to prepare a proposal for reserved seats of Pradhan, Gram Panchayat member, Kshetra Panchayat member, Zilla Panchayat member according to the new reservation policy in all the districts from February 20 to March 1. Apart from this, during the Panchayat elections, on getting information about poster or wall painting, the village secretary has ordered a response.

According to the order, after implementing the new process of reservation, objections will be sought on all posts between March 4 and 8 and March 9 will be the last day to collect all the objections. From 10 to 12 March, a committee headed by DM in which CDO, Additional Chief Officer, District Panchayat and DPRO will also discuss objections and give their decision. The final list of reservations for all posts will be made public on 13 and 14 March. Under the new reservation policy, training has also been given to BDO, ADO Panchayat and administrators for the determination of seats. This year, those villages which were not in the reserve category will be selected for SC reservation. Similarly, those villages which were not in OBC category would be reserved for OBCs. If the number of such reserved villages will be more than the number of reserved villages, then reservation will be implemented in decreasing order of population there.
Here is the complete schedule:
1. The proposal for reservation of Pradhan, Gram Panchayat member, Kshetra Panchayat member, Zilla Panchayat member will be ready from February 20 to March 1.
2. On March 2 and 3, the final list of reservation for all posts will be given on public.
3. Objections will be sought against all posts from March 4 to 8 and on March 9 they will be collected.
4. From 10 to 12 March, the committee headed by DM will discuss the objections and give the final decision.
5. The final list of reservation of all posts will be published on 13 and 14 March.
6. By March 15, reservation notice will also be sent to the Panchayati Raj Directorate.
Publicity should not be done through public places, gram sabhas, schools
Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Singh has ordered that public places, schools, government buildings should not have wall paintings related to publicity for Panchayat elections. Any type of poster, pumplet, etc. should not be pasted on these buildings. Wherever wall writing and publicity materials are installed on these buildings, it should be removed immediately. Government buildings, religious places etc. should not be used in election campaign. If any disturbance is found in the inspection, strict action will be taken by deciding the responsibility of the village secretary. It was further stated in this order that all polling stations should be ideal centers. There should be tiles in the ground, toilets should be arranged and its color is lacquered.
