But a housewife who works around 303 rupees a day only in the kitchen, does not get any remuneration nor is it added to the national income. This is to say that Assistant Professor Jeba Khan of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Recently, a research paper by Jeeba has been published in a large journal. The topic of the research paper is Women: Problems and Challenges’. National Commission for Women National Commission has also honored Jeba for this paper.
No one is eyeing the work of 8.41 hours and 303 rupees
According to the research paper of Assistant Professor Jeba Khan, a housewife, while living in the house, does kitchen work as well as cleaning the house, washing clothes and doing more work for the family. But only 8 kitchen works have been included in this research. The women whom she has been interviewed and involved in research are 30 to 35 years old and her family consists of four husbands, a school-going child, a small child and herself.
The work that has been included in the kitchen in his time is like this, three times in the kitchen, Rs 4500 for making vegetables and rice, 300 times for cutting vegetables for three times, 600 for grinding of masala by hand, for kitchen for two times. 8 times cleaning 100, once kneading dough 100 times, 5 times kitchen cleaning slabs 100 times, washing dishes thrice a day 1500 and making chapati thrice is also 1500 rupees.
