Have you recently changed your email ID? If yes, have you updated it with your bank? If not, do it and it is very easy to do it. State Bank of India (SBI) customers can change or update their email ID with their savings account. This can be done online or through a mobile app or by visiting SBI Bank branch.
Know how to update your email id online
- Log on to www.onlinesbi.com.
- Click on ‘Profile – Personal details – Change Email ID’.
- It will be under ‘My Accounts’, which will appear on the left panel of the screen.
- On the next page choose the account number, input the email id and click submit.
- Approve the change of email address using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- You can also do this by going to the branch.

How to update your email id by visiting any SBI branch
- Go to your nearest SBI branch.
- Fill in the request letter and submit it.
- Updation will be done by the branch after necessary verification.
- You will get an SMS on your updated email ID.
- You can also update your email ID through SBI Mobile App.
How to update email id through SBI mobile app
- Login to SBI Mobile App.
- From the menu tab, go to ‘My Profile’ and click on the edit icon.
- Please enter email ID.
- Now generate OTP and enter the OTP found on the registered mobile number.
- Now, click on ‘Submit’.
