New Delhi / Ghaziabad: The movement of farmers against all three agricultural laws was openly supported by Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Chaudhary Ajit Singh. Initially, Chaudhary Ajit Singh and his party RLD distanced themselves from the peasant movement, but in the last week of January, he came out in full support. In fact, Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Chaudhary Ajit Singh spoke to the Bharatiya Kisan Union leaders Naresh Tikait and Rakesh Tikait over the phone. Chaudhary Ajit Singh gave a message to all to live together, calling this movement a question of the life and death of the farmers. Kulmilkar, who was walking on the UP border, who was on the verge of dying, was brought alive by a message from Chaudhary Ajit Singh.
Ajit Singh had said to Rakesh Tikait- ‘This is the question of the life and death of the farmers, stay strong, stay one’
The violence of the Farmers Tractor Parade on 26 January caused a deep damage to the movement’s image. There was a time that the movement was about to end. At that time, National President of Rashtriya Lok Dal, Chaudhary Ajit Singh spoke to the National President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Naresh Tikait and National Spokesperson Rakesh Tikait over the phone. Ajit Singh had said, ‘Don’t worry, life is a question of death for the farmer. Everyone has to be one, stay together. ‘ This information was given by Ajit Singh’s son Jayant Chaudhary himself in a tweet.
Chaudhary Ajit Singh was given the Lok Sabha ticket to Naresh Tikait
There is no doubt that Chaudhary Ajit Singh and Naresh Tikait were very close to each other. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the National Lok Dal President Ajit Singh shot two targets with one stone, making Rakesh Tikait a Lok Sabha candidate from Amroha. Rakesh Tikait is the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union and is the son of farmer leader Chaudhary Mahendra Singh Tikait. In such a situation, where Rashish wanted to strengthen his hold in Bhakiyu, the largest peasant organization by contesting elections from Amroha, there was also an attempt to appease the Jat community which was angry with Ajit Singh after the Muzaffarnagar riots. At the same time, during the reception of Rakesh Tikait at the party’s office in Muzaffarnagar, a large number of Bhakiyu officials and activists also attended. This proves that Chaudhary Ajit Singh, with the help of Rakesh Tikait, wanted to regain his faith in the farmers and the Jats.
Ajit Singh was distraught as soon as Mi Dia cried.
The Bharatiya Kisan Union, which is staging a strike on the Ghazipur border adjoining Delhi, withdrew the agitation after the violence on 26 January following the Kisan Tractor Parade. After the announcement of Naresh Tikait, the National President of the Indian Farmers Union, the police started removing the tents of the farmers. Even electricity and water have already been cut. Meanwhile, Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of Bhakyu, was talking about not withdrawing from the dharna. He even went so far as to say that if the administration tried to forcibly remove him, he would hang himself and commit suicide.
Meanwhile, the Tikait brothers joined Chaudhary Ajit Singh, the leader of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), the flagship party of West UP and his son Jayant Chaudhary. At the same time, Chaudhary Saheb had given the message that don’t worry, life is a question of death for the farmer. Everyone has to be one, stay together. ‘ It is said that soon after getting the support of Chaudhary Ajit Singh, the tone of BKU leader Rakesh Tikait changed. Everyone knows what happened after that. Currently Rakesh has become the hallmark of the peasant movement.
Defeat Ajit Singh, our mistake
Explain that at the mahapanchayat held in Muzaffarnagar in January, BKI President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait had said that it was our mistake to defeat Chaudhary Ajit Singh in the Lok Sabha elections. We do not lie, we are guilty. Naresh Tikait had said that this family has always fought for the honor of the farmers, do not make such a mistake in the future.
