It is very important to keep your Aadhaar up-to-date. You can update the details either online or by visiting the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. And, updating your details requires a certain amount of fee.
According to UIDAI, if you update one field or many in the Aadhaar or even your biometrics, Rs 100 will be charged. While, you will be charged Rs 50 if you update your demographic details. Moreover, you can update your address online at free of cost by visiting – https://www.uidai.gov.in/.
Below are the revised charges that are to be charged by Registrars/EAs/ ASKs/Aadhaar Kendras for various Aadhaar related services from residents:

Update of more than one field on a single instance will be considered as one update.
Updating your address in your Aadhaar card on the UIDAI website and availing other services online will continue to be free of cost. The revised fee will be charged for the services availed by individuals at Aadhaar centres.
How many days will it take for Aadhaar correction?
It takes around 10 to 15 days to get the updated Aadhaar card. The Aadhaar letter with updates will be sent to your address after processing of update/ correction in name, address, date of birth and gender as required.
Can we apply for an Aadhaar card again?
You can re-apply for an Aadhaar card if the previous request of Aadhaar enrolment is rejected. You can re-apply for an Aadhaar card by visiting the permanent Aadhaar enrolment center.
