Who can apply for Aadhaar card without biometrics?
To apply for Aadhaar card without biometrics, you must have a valid medical reason. Meaning, if your fingerprints are blurred or you have no hands, then you can apply for Aadhaar card by giving a medical certificate. Similarly, if your eyes are bad or you do not have eyes, then in that situation also you can apply for Aadhar card.
Instructions issued to Aadhar Center
Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar has announced that the government has instructed the Aadhaar Service Center to issue Aadhaar cards to disabled people with blurred fingerprints or eyes and hands. The government said that if someone has blurred fingerprints, he can make Aadhar card only through IRIS scan. Similarly, if people do not have Irish scan, they can apply for Aadhaar through fingerprint.
How to apply Aadhaar without biometrics
The government clarified that those who cannot provide both fingerprint and iris biometrics can apply for Aadhaar without it. Such persons can apply for Aadhaar by name, gender, address and date, but they will have to provide medical certificate of their hands and eyes. Also, the photo of your disability will have to be submitted on the Aadhar card.
