UIDAI posted the advice

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has once again advised Aadhaar card users to get PVC Aadhaar on Twitter (now X) platform. On an X post made on Friday, UIDAI has written, ‘Aadhaar PVC card is a wallet size card, which is more secure than ever and can be ordered online for just Rs 50. After this, the new Aadhaar will be sent to your address via speedpost.’

Order for all members from one number

The process of making PVC Aadhaar card is very easy. You can apply for PVC Aadhaar Card from home with the help of mobile or laptop and get it. The 50 rupees spent to get this Aadhaar card includes the cost of speed post. If you want to order PVC card for other members of your family apart from yourself, then you do not need to call from different numbers, but the facility of ordering from a single number is also given.

This is the process of applying

The process of ordering PVC Aadhaar card has been made easy by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). You can do this work from home with the help of your mobile or laptop. For this you have to follow some steps…

  • You have to go to UIDAI’s website (https://uidai.gov.in).
  • Click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’ in ‘My Aadhaar Section’.
  • Now enter 12 digit Aadhaar number or 16 digit Virtual ID or 28 digit EID.
  • After entering this number, enter the security code or captcha. After this click on Send OTP.
  • An OTP will come on your registered mobile number. After entering it, click on the submit button.
  • A preview copy of the PVC card will appear on the new screen, which will contain all the details related to your Aadhaar.
  • Verify all the information appearing on the screen and place the order if you are satisfied with it.
  • An option to make payment in digits will come. You pay Rs 50 through UPI, net banking or debit-credit card.
  • After completing this process, further process will start on your PVC Aadhaar request.
  • If the payment is successful, the process of sending Aadhaar PVC Card to your address will start.

Let us tell you here that after ordering PVC Aadhaar online, it will take maximum 15 days for it to reach your home. PVC Aadhaar card is equipped with many modern security features.
