Lock-unlock feature
Through M-Aadhaar, the Aadhaar holder can lock or unlock his UID or Aadhaar number whenever he wants. Biometric data is associated with Aadhaar which is quite sensitive. Once you enable the biometric locking system in the app, you cannot use it until you unlock it. This is very important in terms of security. It is advisable to keep it locked when the base is not in use. OTP facility can also be availed. Without this app you get OTP via SMS which can also be unsafe. But with M-app, you will be able to get direct OTP on that app.
QR code scanning help
After the Aadhaar update request, you can update the Aadhaar profile data. You can share QR code and EKYC data with the help of the app. For any government work, it can be taken for paperless verification in which password-protected EKYC and QR code can be sent. With the help of M-Aadhaar user can create multiple (up to 3) profiles.
You can create multiple profiles from the same mobile number in your profile section. Aadhar services can also be availed over SMS even when your mobile network is not there.
