UIDAI has recently shared a direct link through Twitter. By clicking on this link you can download Aadhar card anywhere, anytime. This direct link we are talking about is this- eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. Through this link you will easily download Aadhaar.

- First of all go to the official website of UIDAI https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
- After this, on the top there you will get three options to download Aadhaar. The first option will be to enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number. The second will be to enter the Enrollment ID and the third will be to enter the Virtual ID.
- After this, the Aadhar card will be downloaded again by entering any of these IDs or numbers.
- After filling the details, type the characters given in the image and then click on Send OTP. This one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number which you have entered in your Aadhaar card. On clicking on Verify OTP, you will get your Aadhaar number via SMS.
- Now enter the OTP received on your mobile number. Your Aadhar card details and the option to download Aadhar will appear.
- Click on download option and save it.

E-Aadhaar is downloaded in PDF format. In such a situation, it is necessary to have Adobe Acrobat software first to open PDF in the system. Apart from this, e-Aadhaar is password protected before downloading. You must have a special password to open it.
