UIDAI discontinues Aadhaar reprint facility

UIDAI has done the work of giving information in this regard by tweeting. Aadhar Help Center quoted a customer’s inquiry and told that the service of getting Aadhaar reprint has been stopped. A user named Bhavesh Patel had tagged Aadhaar in his tweet and wrote that the Aadhaar reprint service is not visible on uidai’s website

UIDAI replied to the tweet: In response to Bhavesh Patel’s tweet, UIDAI wrote that dear resident, the work has been done to stop the order Aadhaar reprint service. You are able to order Aadhar PVC card online instead. You can also print your e-Aadhaar if you want to keep it in a flexible paper format.

How to get PVC Aadhaar Card made?
For this you need to apply online on the website of UIDAI.

After this, go to the ‘My Aadhaar’ section and click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.

After this, you will need to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 16-digit Virtual ID or 28-digit Aadhaar Enrollment ID (EID).

Now a security code or captcha will appear in front of you, fill it.

As soon as you do this, the option of Send OTP will be activated. where you want to click.

After clicking, the OTP will reach your registered mobile, see it and fill it in the OTP section. After that you can submit the online form.

After doing this, there will be a preview of the PVC Aadhar card on the screen in front of you, as well as the option of payment below will also be seen in it. On clicking on which you will reach the payment mode.


Through which you need to deposit a fee of Rs 50.

After doing this, the order process of your Aadhar PVC card will be completed.

After the entire process is completed, UIDAI will print the Aadhaar and hand it over to India Post within 5 days. After this the postal department will deliver it to your home through speed post.
