UIDAI tweeted and said – The date for free Aadhaar update has been extended. Now you can update Aadhaar for free till June 14, 2024. According to UIDAI, Aadhaar has to be updated every 10 years. It is important that all the information like name, address, date of birth in the Aadhaar card is correct, otherwise your important work may come to a halt.

Aadhar card is a government document. This document can be needed for everything from banking to school-college admission to making a passport. Apart from this, Aadhar card is also used for buying property and booking tickets.

Update Aadhar Card at home
If there is any mistake in your Aadhar card, you can make changes in your name, address or date of birth sitting at home. If you update before June 14, you will not have to pay any fees. After this date you will have to pay for any change.

- First of all go to the official website of UIDAI.
- Here you have to enter your phone number.
- After entering the phone number, an OTP will come on your phone.
