Downloading Aadhar card online has become easier now. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has shared a direct link – eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. By clicking on it, you can download your Aadhar card anywhere and anytime.
UIDAI has informed about this facility in its tutorial tweet from its official Twitter handle. Aadhaar has become the most important document of our identity in today’s time. To take advantage of any government scheme from bank to bank, you need Aadhaar.
Sharing the direct link to download Aadhaar card online, UIDAI tweeted, “Download your Aadhaar anytime anywhere from https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. You can choose to download ‘regular basis’.”

How to download aadhar
To download Aadhar card online, you need to log on to the direct link provided by UIDAI – eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. After that login through OTP. After that you can download your Aadhaar by following some steps.
- Download your Aadhaar by following these steps
- Login to the direct link of UIDAI – eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
- Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- If you want a masked Aadhaar card, then tick the box to the left of the option ‘I want a masked Aadhaar’.
- Enter the security code or captcha.
- Click on ‘Send OTP’.
- OTP will be sent to you on your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
- Enter OTP.
- After submission of OTP, your Aadhar card details and option to download Aadhar will be displayed on your computer monitor or cell.
- will appear on the phone screen.
- Click on the download option and save it for future reference.
What is Masked Aadhar Card
Recently UIDAI launched a new feature of Aadhaar, which has been named as Masked Aadhaar. Since there are 12 digits in the Aadhar card, but with the help of this masked Aadhaar, you can hide the first 8 digits of Aadhaar. That is, in Masked Aadhaar, you will see only the last 4 digits.
